Injuries mounting across NFL after two weeks

It could be my imagination more than reality but damn it seems like just two weeks in, a lot of teams are losing a lot of key players to injuries and many of them are on offense.

Deebo now out too for 49'ers.

Rams are the Chargers this year and have like 9 guys out or hurt.

Justin Jefferson hurt.

I think this could be a reason for some of this low scoring.

Lot of guys got no preseason reps.

Injuries knock playoff teams out of competition.

Gotta stay healthy......

As long as this trend continues the number of injuries is going to continue to increase.
No argument here. My point is more about how this is just the way it is now, it just so happens that the “casualty” list thus far is more star studded than usual, not necessarily a longer list.

happened a lot a few years ago too. Have to get people in game mode. And they are not. maybe going to 3 games was not smart.

Preseason reps wouldn't have stopped Pacheco from getting his leg bent backward and twisted.

Preseason reps were THE CAUSE of Hollywood getting tackled in just the right position to pop out his collarbone.

This is why in suicide (survivor) pools I always pick the third or fourth most popular option the first few weeks. Stuff is always weird the first few weeks and favorites lose.

Those are not soft tissue injuries. Those are injuries that are not preventable.

Soft tissue injuries are almost always caused by significant change in load beyond what they are conditioned for at that time.
