They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

I was just about to post this. And they aren't far off of 2021's first 4 games.

They drafted Mecole because of the Tyreek situation and he mirrored him the closest with measurables. If it weren't for the Tyreek situaiton we wouldn't have even been drafting a WR in round 2.

At this point, it would likely benefit the offense to simplify things for a few weeks

You can't put Taylor and Swift so close even if you have a comma.

Patrick looks pretty good at RB.

#Chiefs OC Matt Nagy's message to WR Justyn Ross: "Just keep doing what he's doing which is working hard and trying to learn the different positions in the offense."

Says they're learning what he does well and he's learning what he needs to get better at.

"As coaches and teachers, we've got to develop him."

Says that when he gets an opportunity, he needs to make the most of it.

Kinda rough that after 1.5 years in KC he doesn’t understand enough of the playbook to get reps.

Mahomes trusted him in PS.

This offense needs simplified to get these guys more involved.

This is always given as a valid excuse but I don’t buy it - it was a reactionary decision bordering on panic and was a poor move. Reaching for a raw prospect because he was the closest thing to Hill based purely on measurables was a mistake. I’m not the biggest fan of Veach but I’m fairly confident he wouldn’t make that same pick today. I do admit he has grown a lot as a GM, even if he can’t draft WRs worth a damn.

They were absolutely blindsided right before the ****ing draft and didn't know if their WR1 was ever going to play for them again, more or less that season. This is after free agency. It's not like they had no idea who Hardman was and picked some fast guy. He was always going to go in that range, and made sense considering the fit and the situation.

Nobody is saying they panicked and reached. Just that it created a potential HUGE need out of nowhere, and they probably don't take a WR if they don't get that news last minute.

It was a very unique and unprecedented situation, but yea I'm sure you would've known exactly how to handle it. Absolutely hilarious MMQBing from you.

No clue why people act like Hardman was such a huge miss. He was a good player for us and we could still use him. He just has the unhappy distinction of being someone a CP hate culture developed around.

Huge miss? Maybe not. Worth the draft spot, no. Yes, he helped to push the safeties back, had some highlights, and statically did okay.

But it was pretty clear he never got on the same page as Mahomes.

Shit Claypool is going to be available from waivers. Wont even need to trade. His style really does not fit what the Chiefs like to do but he is a talent.
