If they’d wanted to score at the end of the Jaguars and Jets games, they’d be top 5ish in PPG too. |

I am surprised that the chiefsplanet mob that is anal about the salary cap does not see the benefit of having a WR room good enough to win a Lombardi, but putting up stats that keeps players affordable.
Win and stay healthy and don't overreact to the fantasy stats being low. Watching that game, the three bad plays on offense were not due to a WR making a mistake. |

The hit rate for 2nd rd picks is less than half IIRC. Would imagine it's lower for picks in the back half of the 2nd rd.
Hardman was a successful draft pick based on his stats usage here. The problem is he's a successful 2nd rd WR compared to drafts in general but his draft class was deep at WR so people get pissed bc DK Metcalf, Diontae Johnson and Terry McLaurin were drafted after him. |

Yeah but he hits nearly everywhere else, which helps a ton. If you told me my GM would miss on most of his round 1-2 skill position players but he consistently hits every other position, I'd take it man. Especially when our goal is to be contending every single year. Just draft good football players that can play right now.

I'll be absolutely shocked if he doesn't decline when he's o some other team without Chase. |

I'm not sure how much he'll decline, he's a jump ball guy, he doesn't rely on just outrunning people or even being a great route runner.

We have two problems with our WRs, basically. 1. The Skyy Moore pick at this point looks like a whiff 2. The decision to bet on Toney's health was a poor decision. That's really it. We could fix this in an offseason with a decent signing and/or a pick that hits. But there's no way to fix it in-season, other than doing whatever we can to help Rice emerge. Just is what it is. Sometimes you get it wrong. |
