Aiyuk to the Steelers?

Seems to be a lot of buzz around the Steelers finalizing a trade for Aiyuk.

Oof. Explains their reluctance to move off Aiyuk.

Pearsall has a shoulder injury the 49ers knew about and it's not healing like they thought. May become a recurring problem.

We’re with you, Aiyuk! Don’t do them any favors! You’ve sacrificed plenty for the team and it’s time you were shown respect!!

So they took a 2nd round talent WITH a pre-existing injury?

Smaaaaaaaart.

What did we give up to jump them in the draft? Like...a 4th round pick?

Boy, bet you're glad you held onto that one...

Disappointed in the FAU pick?

Well, you could have a GM who makes 1st round selections that give you zero hope from the very start.

Never understood the late 1st/early 2nd round hype in terms of Pearsall. Did he make perhaps the most incredible catch in the history of football? Yes, he absolutely did. Did he show late 1st/early 2nd round talent throughout the course of his college career? If he did, I sure didn't see it.
