They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Looks like a wasted season.
He either needed to be at 100% in week 1 (and they needed to use him as though he was) or they needed to sit him.

By playing a possibly compromised version of him, or at the very least running an offense that appears terrified of exposing him at all, they've gone to 1-3 and now any runway they may have had to get him healthy is completely gone.

Cincy couldn't have handled this any worse and yes - this season is absolutely toast.

I'd say at this point all they can do is sit him for 2-3 weeks, hope they steal 1 or 2 of those, and with a healthy Burrow go on an 8-2 tear to end the season and try to sneak in with 10/11 wins.

They can't keep doing this. These games aren't even competitive. They looked awful for 3 quarters even in the game they won.

This team gave up speed at WR and now it's really shown up in the worst way. They do have Toney so we need to pray he continues to get healthy and stay that way bc he was the one guy that was getting the separation we needed.

They need to wait until the end of next week IMO. Give Skyy Moore 2 more games to prove himself and if he continues to be this disappointment then start looking around the league for a WR to trade for.

Nah man. Sink or swim with this group. Teams (the good ones) roll out their season's systems in phases, typically in quarters. It's partly why you see such a deviation in teams from the start of the season to the end.

We haven't seen everything the Chiefs are planning to do this year. We've only seen the first 25%. As the season rolls along, we'll start seeing more plays built off the backs of other plays, new formations, new play designs etc.

Just gotta let it all play out.

Just because the season has started like this doesn't mean it's how it'll end. Gotta figure out what we really have in these guys, you can't give up after 1/4 of the season.

It's just Skyy Moore that I'm out on. He's had plenty of time and hasn't shown anything needed to start in this league.

If it's just Skyy Moore then there's really no need to make a trade.

I'd like to think that was not the case. Having a plan where a toney injury throws a wrench in it is a pretty reckless plan.

Do we know if injury is the reason for the limited snap count?

Total Yards 1539
Passing Yards 1071
Rushing Yards 468

2023 first 4 games

It shouldnt be a surprise our WR are getting less yards when our rushing totals have went up each week this year as defenses continue to drop into max coverage:

Rushing yards by game:
Det 90
Jax 101
Chi 153
NYJ 204

All good points. For as anemic as our offense has seemed we’re still the number 3 offense in yards and 8th in scoring. If they can just get one receiver to click with Kelce we’re back to being explosive again. My money is still on Rice.

Not sure how a starting WR out there half the time has no catches in half the games. Ugly.

and as I pointed out in my above post. We have more yards this year than last year and arguably against tougher D's...

I agree. Im not in the "sink or swim" crowd with this. If signs still pont to sinking, I want a life vest to stop it.

Devante Adams wants out of Vegas...bit of a pipe dream but he'd be awesome in KC!

We could make the money work if we sent them back MVS I think.

2nd RD Pick + MVS + 5th RD Pick = Devante Adams + 6th RD Pick.

We had our own WR that we could have kept for $30 MILLION. Doubt KC wants to trade and pay for another one.

I don't think Veach is as stubborn as the we're developing a WR no matter what crowd.

There is nothing else I need to see to not want all these snaps going to Skyy, Watson, and Noah Gray.

Toney and James were other options and neither showed as well.

Time to go shopping.
