Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

That's what the Chiefs will be if Alex Smith wins a Super Bowl with us. The drunk jackass. They might win the game, and I might be glad they won the game, but that doesn't mean they took a good shot at all.

This will forever be a bad trade regardless of the circumstances.
I was thinking it's more like a drunk idiot sticking with his cards even when people are raising, but catching his straight on the last three.

After he catches it, he says,"I had to stay with it. Nobody would fold with what I was holding".

(Happened to me in Tulsa. I had 3 Aces (pockets) on the flop with nothing but garbage showing around it. I went all in with $280, and the moron caught a straight from 2 to 6 with the last 2 garbage cards.)

That may be true but the cause was the build up of Geno as some savior that we can't live without. Only Geno could lead us to wins and the playoffs and multiple Super Bowls.

Radio dudes yesterday weren't real favorable of the trade UNLESS Smiff comes out and wins several games right off the bat. All the ones I heard also said they thought the compensation would be worthwhile ONLY if Smiff gets us to a Super Bowl

The cause was the franchise refusing to draft and develop its own QB.

Just because it doesn't have the Smith you wanted, doesn't make it any less valid.
That's not my point

If the Chiefs win a Super Bowl because Alex Smith unprecedentedly became a QB who's not a piece of shit, it was all according to the plan of Reid and Dorsey.

That's what has to take place. If Reid and Dorsey are that damn confident that's who Alex Smith really is and he pulls it off, I'll give them credit.

Right now I've got those odds at somewhere between my dog spontaneously combusting tomorrow afternoon and me winning the lottery.

This ones always good for a laugh...every time this team gives this battered housewife another black eye, they are quick to make the rounds to the neighbors to tell them that they fell down the stairs again.

It's sad.
