I haven't sold virtually any since I started acquiring in 2014. Too lazy and I dont trade or use exchanges. Ill either hold onto the bag and be broke or have 10M.
Just six months ago it was like 10k. Its not going to hold at 60k for any long period of time. Especially with the threats of doubling LTCGs. The history of bitcoin we see huge spikes then huge downturns and it stabilizes at a higher rate. Last edited by BWillie; 04-25-2021 at 06:14 PM.. |

If you expect it to go into the 20s why wouldn't you sell some now? Even if you're into holding, that would give you the opportunity to buy back even more if it goes down like you expect.

Because I dont want to deal with it. Ive never bought bitcoin in my entire life. I have so many different wallets. Just a pain in the ass. You are probably right though, especially with LTCG likely to go up, I should cash out now but I can not begin to tell you how lazy I am. And part of it is just the principal. Im not cashing out until Im ready to permanently lay on my ass and golf all the time.

I do, yes. A lot of online retailers actually offer a discount if you use crypto. I prefer to use it when dealing with overseas/sketchy sites. I prefer to not give them my bank info or cc number. It's also widely used in transactions that may be frowned upon by U.S. law enforcement.
