He's 30 and has a $13 million dollar cap hit. Maybe a 3rd or a 4th plus a pick the year after?

Well that's a ballgame for a hell of a lot longer if he doesn't duff a TD and a long reception earlier in the game.

This should be an environment where he's kinda excited to be a part of it. He's won a ring, he's gotten paid a lot. He's now a veteran leader with a young(ish) veteran QB who's getting an opportunity to prove himself.

And Evans can (will?) be a MASSIVE part of that.

If this is a situation where he's going to be a malcontent, then he's strictly a paycheck player and/or a frontrunner. None of those things make me super eager to make a move for him.

Or maybe he was just pissed at himself, in which case it doesn't mean anything - that happens.

I know you're a fan, but Baker.....well he was his old shit self last night.

Plus the contract dispute stuff. I would imagine he wants out of there.

I wonder how much dude wants to get paid. He is really underpaid right now so can’t blame him for hating his contract.

That 2018 and 2019 teams was stacked IMHO. Obviously a younger Kelce and Hill...man I miss Tyreek he is so much better now than a couple of years ago even.

PLEASE EVERYONE I'M BEGGING

Please stop with the Mike Evans talk. Y'all would lose your mind if you saw the easy catches he drops and how he disappears for games at a time.

Dude is a walking soft tissue injury.

100 yards a game and a TD though.

I don't think he fits what Andy and Co want in a WR anyway, but I think he gets moved somewhere.

Why? Rice has looked very good. FFS man the guy is 2 yards from having 3 TD's in 3 games. What else could you ask for from a rookie 2nd rd WR?

The Bucs are gonna ask for a 2nd rd pick at worst and that pick is valuable.

You guys wanna pay Chris $30 million a year and then trade valuable draft picks for a 30 year old WR when you have Rice showing you something?

This is how you tank a dynasty

Guys played 95% of the possible games in his career - he's played 140 of 148 games. "Walking soft tissue injury?"

He's the only player in NFL history to have 9 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons to start his career. Now he's just some stone-hands, loafing-ass loser?

Please.

He's not young, he's not cheap, he may not even be available. But c'mon - nothing you said here makes sense.

Wouldn't be the worst time to flip a 4th and get a 3rd back in the comp range, while having him for half a year.

No one is giving up a 2nd for the guy with his contract status.

Hill and Watkins was peak. When Watkins was healthy this offense was flat out unstoppable.

The wild card for why we remained successful to me is that Pacheco and McKinnon are outstanding. There was such a short window where we got to see Kareem and Watkins at the same time. Because that offense would have been face melting if we weren’t forced to cut kareem.

Playing the game and playing effectively are two different things. I had this dude for like 4 straight years in FF and he ALWAYS had some nagging injury and would miss parts of games or be a decoy.

That TD drop from last night? Happens regularly.

Perception, maybe not reality - but his 1000 yard seasons seemed to be built on the back of like 4-5 MONSTER games while he was pretty average the rest of the season.

As much as I’ve shouted for a WR1 I’m pretty neutral about if we trade for mike evans. However I don’t buy into the idea that it eats into young player snaps. In a perfect world a great WR1 would hopefully push mvs, skyy and Toney to be more situational players which I love for them. They have low target shares so l lowering their snap counts helps get more efficiency out of them, and Toney seems like for health and usage reasons more of a utility player suits him well

The role that gets reduced the most is watson and I’m good with that

Moore is developing nicely.

Our WR group is probably fine if they continue this developmental arc, but you also need them to be able to zig when defenses get film and zag.

Look at what happened to Puca last night.

These defenses aren't stupid.

And again - nobody else has ever done it. Only Rice has put together a longer streak of 1,000 yard seasons at ANY point in his career.

If he's the boom/bust flash in the pan sort you're suggesting, he's not a guy who's doing things that have literally never been done in this league before.
