He’ll be a valuable player for years to come but he still needs to learn to value the ball. He goes until contact way too much for my liking. The extra yard or two isn’t worth the occasional fumble.

The dude made some tough catches today.
His drops are usually concentration issues when he focuses on YAC but his hands are pretty solid. |

Yeah some of these guys needs to realize to just take the yards and not fight for more when you don't have to. Stop taking the big hits.

I wouldn’t expect a huge jump next year, because I think Veach brings in 2 competent WRs to play around him. Even matching that production next year would be great. |

Dude has an uncanny style about him
Without the ball he looks like a good 4.5, but the second he gets that ball secured he's a solid 4.3 |

68 rec 754 yds 7 TDs…Rice has exceeded expectations and on his way to being a star in this league it would seem.

That last nab was his best of the day, he had to scoop that one off the turf to basically seal the game.. it was surgical

Probably a hard thing to coach around. You don’t want him to lose the edge he plays with especially when he is so strong after the catch and contact.

not many rookies produce like Rice is producing. It's a sign that he's going to end up being a really great player. Historically, only hall of fame level receivers got 1,000+ yards during their rookie seasons. Kelvin Benjamin was the only exception that I can think of. Though, it happens more often now than it did before around 2010.
But this kid is definitely on his way. |

Marcus Allen was great about going down, and avoiding a crushing straight on collision. Marvin Harrison and DHop would both see the tackle was inevitable, and since they knew they didn't need the extra yard, would often just go down. It's not cowardly. It's smart. If you have a first down, or need to maintain possession of the ball because of the game circumstances, taking a huge hit just for another 3 feet could lead to an injury, a fumble, or both. Just get down, take your yardage, and minimize the damage your body takes and the risk of injury. |
