Funny how much things can change in 3 days.

We lose tomorrow and our playoff odds are taking a nosedive.

So, now Erceg won't pitch again and we wasted a massive effort by Ragans. Pathetic management, IMO. I'm not a baseball manager however not being able to get a run with the bases loaded multiple times and players grounding into double plays without taking any pitches seems like a coaching problem.

Detroit is hot and they want it. More than us right now.

Some of their hitters have had some really great at bats in this series, especially in clutch situations.

Our hitters aren't seeing the pitches right now... if they were we wouldn't have so many strike 3 looking. I do notice that we keep getting a lot of strike calls by the umps early in plate appearances that aren't strikes and that isn't helping.
