Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

We'll get no more than a fifth back, and we aren't getting any other players of any value.

Pro Football Central completely robs other people of their stories.

Mortenson said the Raiders like Geno Smith, and then those hacks post it as their own news without attributing it to a source.

Does Nick Athan have kids?

Swaping second round picks for Smith would be the best outcome from that. At least it wouldn't be a total loss on players.

That's completely insane, but they did talk about acquiring multiple QBs.

I'm just gonna leave the plug in until April 27.

They said we could draft one, sign one, trade for one, or any combination of those things.

I know I'm living in a fantasy world right now, but I guess I don't want to believe this rumor until its on KCChiefs.com.

The best part of the Smith trade is that apparently, there will be more bandwidth for the rest of us to enjoy.

No more hang time when logging in or discussing events of the day because half of the posting members have pledged to leave.
