Chiefs throwback matchups from the 90's

Here's a good afternoon time waster.

This popped up on my YouTube feed. Here's 3 games (the highlights) of the Chiefs from 92-94 I think. The Montana years. The DT, Neil Smith, Saleamua years. The Louie Aguiar and Lowery era. Back when the graphics were shit, the score was NOT on the screen at all times, the hits were probably penalties now...

Montana has a throwing motion that looks really strange to me, but I think the modern NFL QB is just different. Anyway, these are all Chiefs wins, so they are quite enjoyable!

9ers vs Chiefs at Arrowhead. I believe this is the newest of the 3. There are guys on the defense who I don't remember at all.

1994 MNF - **** Donks Forever!!

1993 Wildcard Win vs. Steelers

Enjoy. Sorry if repost. Your and idiot.

Antifreeze.

I was weeping at the dinner table after that loss.

Took me until Mahomes and a Super Bowl appearance..

I prefer this classic. My skinny 14 year old ass could have run through a brick wall that night I was so fired up.

It's a bit of a shock to the system to see how slow and unimaginative the offenses were.
Heh. The interviews at the beginning...they all have their shirts off...sooooo sexy...

Yah, noticed the same thing watching some old game last offseason. The lines were so much better back then.

Also, I remember watching some Sports Science type show back then, and at some point they analyzed Montana’s throwing motion, among several other QBs, and found that he had the most mechanically perfect throwing motion of any QB they’d ever analyzed. Zero wasted motion.

That's because college football offenses have changed so much.

Ironically there was a commercial for the TV show Good and Evil with a moment of Teri Garr.

Cool video of the game.

4 drops against the 49ers. 2 or 3 would have been TDs.

Everything went right for them that day.

I might have to watch thar later. I remember watching that at my in laws. I was a Chiefs fan for about 3 years at that point. Had no idea the Chiefs would put on a beat down like that. Loved how the intro was all about how the Bills being 6-0 and looking to go back to get redemption. Nothing about the Chiefs.

POS Bills players hit him late. Man, i always felt if Montana hadn't gotten concussed there, the Chiefs would have gone to the SB.
