They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

In reality they should give Rice slot more snaps because the argument we'll be better in January can imply there. But Moore and Watson being your WR snap leaders doesn't really have a long term gain.

Very true. It was true of Kareem Hunt, and more recently with Pacheco. If the player deserves more touches, he gets it in Andy's offense.

Tbh, exactly how Andy's been using these guys is a little bit puzzling at times so far. But maybe there's a reason I'm unaware of causing that. He's the professional coach, so probably that's it.

100%. and I'm convinced the Offense will come out of it's funk and figure things out - I'm more open to Moore, Rice, Toney, Watson and MVS turning it around than I am James or Ross stepping up

Definitely taking either the Raiders or Chargers receivers. We've gone cheap at receiver but are clearly better on the rest of the roster (except also take Jacobs at RB,). You're gonna be mediocre somewhere on the roster.

No one is perfect but I’ve found when it comes to football stuff, if I have a difference of opinion on something compared to Andy I’m probably wrong

Not saying replacing production is easy. But also saying we have some track record of success that should prevent these dramatically negative takes following week 2.
Well, there’s a couple of things loaded into that. While I believe we’re capable of much better last years offense was prototypical for efficiency. With juju you’re talking target share, but also a guy who knew where to be and caught everything that came to him.

Two years ago we had tyreek but depth that kept making mistake after mistake. If anything our team for now feels more like two years ago. We’ve lost a step in efficiency and unlike two years ago we don’t have a big hitter like tyreek who can help heal mistakes. So not only did we lose target share but our mistakes force us to press more and so far our best target to do that is Watson… and I’d rather have better options then that.

Ultimately where I’d rather lane is where we should’ve been with tyreek. A legit primary target surrounded by quality depth. I don’t know why people act like replacing juju with a legit wr1 keeps us from running the same efficient offense except with more explosion and consistency

How do you feel now versus how you felt last year after the Colts game?

And who thinks that replacing JJSS with a legit WR1 would be a bad thing for the offense!? But typically obtaining a WR1 would mean resources being limited elsewhere.

Have to agree there. You need to look at the ceiling with this group. I jave no qualms with keep running Toney out therr until he ****s his knee up again. He at least has some potential but what are we trying to do with Skyy and Watson? They should be complimentary players. The hope should be that Rice and Ross start taking some snaps away based on talent and then production. Maybe the staff feels this way too but its hard to tell.

Justin Watson is literally this teams #1 WR right now. I'm not making this up.

TARGET LEADERS
Toney........10
Watson.....9
Moore........7
Rice...........7
MVS...........5
James........3
Ross...........1

REC YDS ADJUSTED To FULL SEASON
Watson.......909 yards
Moore........595 yards
MVS............518 yards
Rice.............416 yards
Toney..........306 yards
James.........51 yards
Ross.............51 yards

We'll have to be patient but they'll get it figured out. Come week 6 we should be humming. Next week may help us find some rhythm.
