Broncos fans are freaking out over Bo Nix. Was he really that impressive? I didn’t see it.

15/21, 125yds, 6.0yds/att, 1 TD/0 INT 0 SCK, 102.3 Passer Rating

Not a bad first outing. He was far from perfect, nearly threw a pair of INTs, was late on several timing routes, stared down a receiver (probably more).

But for a rook, he didn't embarrass himself. Operated the offense passably for his first time. And threw a TD pass. A lot of rookie QBs don't in their first game.

I was going to post that I think Bo Nix was good enough to give them false hope, but I didn't because I didn't want to get yelled at for being stupid but lol they're gonna have tons of false hope before he's the starter in wk 6 or whatever then they miss the playoffs again

You keep referring to these “several” bad throws. He only had six incompletions. One was a dime in the endzone where the receiver mis timed his jump.

Where were the several late throws, bad misses, and so on?

Why would they win less games than last season? I don’t expect them to be great, but this is puzzling.

Definitely a mix of good and bad in his preseason debut. Too many offensive penalties and fumbles.

Because they're worse than last season. They easily have one of the worst rosters in the NFL. That's why. It's not puzzling at all.
Well, maybe to a delusional Cheating Donx fan like yourself, it may be.

Couple late throws that were completed anyway. Couple that weren’t. The deep shot down the left side that drew a flag was long and well right of where it needed to be. An earlier deep shot wasn’t great either. Iirc, twice he threw into double coverage.

That’s about what I remember off the top of my head.

Did you see how accurate he was when he drilled his first pass into the chest of the defender? Or the touch displayed when he fast balled a 2 yard dump off to his RB?

Other than that he looked good against guys who will be car wash attendants in 6 weeks.

Yeah he didn’t throw all of his passes perfectly.

I see. You’re counting completed passes against him, and one that drew a key penalty. I don’t, based on the general goals and rules of football.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised to see a Chieves fan getting mixed up with a fancy word like “several.”

What did they lose that made them so much worse? We’re you that big a Jeudy booster?
