Season predictions thread

3 weeks from today we start the season hanging our banner. Now that FA and the draft is over every team is set.

Who are we playing in the Championship game and who are we playing in the SB?

Let’s see what everyone thinks so we can come back to this in 4 months

It's a given we're going to lose some games, and if we're going to lose, it'll probably be vs. the better teams, so BAL and CIN are more probable than say DEN and LVR. And I think that the offense will be a little clunky early while Andy figures out exactly how to integrate our new receivers, especially as Brown won't be available the first couple weeks.

Also, at the beginning of the season Spags will be working out how to replace Sneed, he calls a lot of base through the first 4-6 weeks of the season, and gets progressively more exotic as the season wears on. So I expect opponents will be able to score more on KC in the first half of the season.

I think TB will be sneaky good this year. They have a solid roster, with a defense that ranked in the top-10 last season and might have improved personnel-wise, and an upgrade at OC in Liam Coen. Also, Baker has experience in this system, so he should improve upon last year's performance. They'll win the NFC-S, get into the playoffs, and should be a dark horse to win the NFC.

Bears are this years Texans. Look great but gets bounced in the divisional rd.

Chargers win 10 games and get a WC spot. Bengals and Jags make it back to playoffs as well. Dolphins, Browns and Steelers miss playoffs.

49ers make playoffs but aren’t as good.

Chiefs go 14-3. Win AFCCG over Texansin a great game.

Lions make the SB and it goes just like the 49ers games. Goff isn’t enough.

We threepeat

Hot take - Texans don’t make the playoffs this year.

More detail that I had but the AFC and SB results are identical! I think a lot of people will be surprised by the Texans. Unfortunately, that means Demeco will be coach of the year instead of who is really the best every year, Andy.

I'd be terrified for our players.

We will lose a few games but not both of those. We will beat one of them for sure if not both.

12-5. Probably good enough for the 1st/2nd seed.

In the AFCCG, I'll guess our opponent will be NYJ

We'll play TB in the SB.

Yes, but you have to admit it would be a very Mahomes era thing to get everyone who hates us crowing about the first two weeks ALL SEASON LONG before we pull the rug out.
