I was impressed by the singing of Never ending Story by both pairs if kids, my daughter pointed out last night that all four of those kids have been on Broadway. I think Suzy was Matilda, Dustin was in Les Mis/Cinderalla, Lucas was in Lion King, and Max was Annie.

Interesting about their backgrounds. It was so funny interjecting it at that tense moment. But it did have dire consequences with Billy dying.

His character arc has been awesome and great to see it...normally his type of character would've been disposed of in Season 1 but they flipped it on it's head and outcome is tremendous.

Finally got done last night with the season and finale....and Jesus Christ it wrecked me.

The last 20 mins. or so are right at the top for me of any show ever.

What a great season...

Finished last night. I had a good time with it. The Neverending Story thing was cheesy AF.

Always hated that movie and song.

Steve and Robin didn’t quite turn out how I was expecting. LOL

I’m wondering if next season they venture beyond Hawkins Indiana?

They really did an amazing job rebuilding that mall. That’s really how Alot of them felt like back then.

The Steve and Robin arc felt very Breakfast Club-ish with a more current events twist.

So I was rewatching the first season over the weekend.

You can definitely tell they upped the comedy and action in seasons 2 and 3.

Definitely a more limited budget before it became a sensation.

Overall season one is lot more down and depressing with its focus on Will being gone.

I started watching it again too after S3....man it's still so good.

The twist with Hopper in the morgue is still one of the best ever in TV....

Oh yea. It’s still good. Just noting they lightened things up quite a bit.

Mainly the Steve and Dustin stuff, the additions of Murray and Erica.

Oh and MILF mom had a surprising amount of season 1 screen time. It’s just her look was very homely.

Am I the only one that can't stand Will? He doesn't really help with anything. The MFer can FEEL when the flayer is coming around but he just stands there and holds his neck like a reerun. He could at least warn everyone, but NOooOOooo. He just stands there like the useless, goofy looking, bowl cut having, short shorts wearing loser he is. He never fights anyone. He never comes up with clever ideas. He never even really helps to implement other peoples' plans. He's just dead weight. He should have died in Season 1.
