Kind of a weird article, with Clark Judge writing like a stupid homer, defending Cassel, calling McCluster a "dynamic and explosive playmaker."

Then it goes on to talk shit on Romeo Crennel at the end.

Do people really think Charles will go over 1,200 yards? Coming off an ACL injury and possibly having another "feature" back on the team? Seems reasonable.

The o-line is so much better than when he played in 2010. Also, assumming Hillis is an improvement over Jones, that will only help Charles. Charles and Hillis in the backfield at the same time, I like it. I still think Charles gets 12-15 carries a game at least. So perhaps 220 carries this season or somewhere in there. If he is near his 6 ypc he will be right in the 1,200 range.

A key stat from 2010 was that the Chiefs ran the ball for an average of nearly 40 times a game for just under 200 yards a game in the 10 games that went in the win column. Too me, that stat package had far more to do with what happened in 2010 than the 27-7 stat did. That 27-7 stat is nearly as meaningless as Orton's 1-2 stat was during the last three games last season.
