10 million for a backup TE? That's kinda weird.

Now remember, Veach shared in his presser a couple weeks ago that Noah will be featured more heavily in the pass game this year....

He's dependable and perhaps is better than we give him credit for because he has to play second fiddle to Kelce. Could well be a 600+ yard guy on another team.

Little surprising- I have zero reason to doubt any Veach decision though.

Ok contributer?

Geez we are spoiled having Kelce on our team....Gray has been a good piece of the puzzle and it's apparent that Mahomes sees him as a good option.

I just don't get anyone who thinks this isn't a good retention.

Weird one for a few reasons.

-Paying kelce top dollar
-kelce under contract for 2 more years
-wiley just drafted.

This keeps gray here through wileys whole contract now.

I wonder if they expected more out of wiley or if they see gray as a te1 when travis leaves.

Editing to say :

I actually like gray, and im glad he is here. My post seemed bitchy and that wasnt my intent. I think its a little rich for an already expensive te room tho
