I think it is likely that Veach will pay him.
He is good friends with Mahomes, is becoming a good player and brings really a good energy to the team. Watkins is likely gone. |

I think it's more likely at this point the Chiefs let Watkins go and pay D-Rob half his salary for 75% of the production and -100% injury risk.
