He did. For sure. But you can never let your guard down against him. He’s scary for sure

It’s laughable that people were comparing Jackson to Mahomes because of his first two games. He’s not a good passing QB. Never will be.
They will continue to make those comparisons after today...because they need the narrative that there is another other wordly QB...difference is, Lamar was flat out lucky alot of the time, where as Mahomes is lucky rarely.

No it didn't hit the ground after he kicks it. He bounces it on the ground and then kicks it.

Mahomes was far better than Jackson (not surprising because he's 10x the QB) and the Chiefs dominated the Ravens. Was only as close as it was due to shit game management from Reid in the 4th Q.

Also, ravens should enjoy it while they can. I just can't see lamar lasting with that mind of usage. Better than last year, but just can't see a qb holding up to that.

My takeaway from the game? Hope Fouts loses his voice and is unable to announce anymore Chiefs games. He ****ing hates us. Can we at least get a neutral announcer? What a ****ing beaver face pile of shit he is.

So watching the last 5 minutes, I couldn't get this idea that the line for the game was 5.5. So you give them a pass on the clear offensive PI call where the receiver had both arms fully extended against fuller, which was about as "egregious" as you can get without knocking the guy to the ground. You give them a pass on the clear hit out of bounds against Thompson, which would have given us goal to go. You give them a pass on the clear pass interference on the pass before the field goal that put us at 33 points, which also would have put us goal to go. You put all of that together... ... ... and Baltimore is a half point inside the line.

Would last year's D have held on 3 2pt conversions? Hell no. They gave up some garbage yards but got enough big stops and had good pressure all day. Normal QB doesn't escape.

McCoy's ankle injury flared back up.

And I don't remember hearing any updates about Wylie's injury.

And I like Lamar Jackson a lot, I've liked him since he came out, and I've always thought he had the tools to become a good passer, but those "plays" he was making at the end of the game, that was straight up johnny manziel chucking up 50-50 balls to mike evans at texas a&m. Those were ****ing horrible throws, and one was caught after an obvious PI while the other we ****ed up on, trying to play for a pick instead of just knocking the duck down like it was the hail mary it was.

He did not look good today. At all.
