I still like the Titans for what they did for us last season, but man...

My hopes for the Titans being our perrenial little brother (annoying, inferior, yet still good for a challenge) may well have been dashed tonight.

In a regular game with NFL caliber kickers Fangio screwed that up massively but that wasn’t exactly a regular game. He was basically daring them to attempt that kick, hoping Gostkowski would miss, and it backfired. After those first three I don’t know that I blame him.

If Tannehill wasn't entirely mediocre it wouldn't have mattered and Brown would have scored in the endzone with 20 seconds left anyway.

Maybe, but 45 yarders and 25 yarders are pretty different. I think once I saw that Denver wasn’t gonna stop the clock, I would probably have done the same thing but would have been more aggressive looking for a TD.

Either way, it worked out.

You can use your timeouts and still hold them to a FG.

Good night.
It really was bad. I can't think of a single nice thing from it, except for some impressive footwork from Jeudy. Other than that it was a comedy of errors.

And then he became stone hands with the game on the line.

Sweet feet. Stone hands.

Yep. He was basically the Jameis of WR. Had some great plays but two brutal drops that more than likely figured into the outcome. That’ll go down as a C-/D+ first game. Maybe worse. You absolutely cannot have drops, I don’t care how good your moves are.

It was stupid anyway you look at it...if they fail to score, you win...Titans had all 3 TOs...you weren't preventing them from anything with a minute left...they want to run the clock out.

All he did was give his team no time left...the clock, at that point, was against him in every scenario.

Need to see more from Lock but as of today, gun to my head if I had to choose?

I’d take Minshew over Lock

Who was the talking head that had Denver as a sleeper to make the playoffs?
