We lost Fuller in FA.
(Contract offer wasn't huge; 4yr/40m - 23m guaranteed. 4m cap in yr 1, 10m salary cap 2-4yr.)

Breeland is still out there probably because he's asking for too much money.

Possibly. He produced when he was given snaps. I know I said earlier "Don't we all look like fools for doubting him in training camp" and yes, we do, but I want to see how he does over the course of a full season. I still think he's too handsy to be relied upon as an outside corner. Nickel would be an appropriate promotion since Honey Badger consistently covers the slot as well just in case the role is too big for Fenton. But in an ideal world, we have the money to pay Breeland for at least one more year, we draft a guy, and Fenton fills in the gaps just like he did last season.

That gives us some real depth that we can work with even in the case of injury. It also means Spags doesn't have his hands tied behind his back trying to do everything he can to support a bunch of undrafted nobodies that resemble the old Vermeil/GRob defenses.
