In a Facebook memory of mine from a couple years back, he commented on a post of mine:

“Great things come to those with an attitude of gratitude.”

The post was a public communication between me and a friend, and had nothing to do with him. He just read it and liked it enough to drop that pearl.

Flopnuts was a good one. Definitely will be missed here within this community. I saw this post a few days ago but left it alone. Hope he's healing somewhere better.

Awe man.... this is awful. I really, really liked that guy. We had a few rough stretches from 10-13, but we really grew to like eachother.

RIP, friend.

Heard some hilarious stories about Flop with others on the board. Sounded like a blast to hang out with.

That pic of Flopnuts reminds me of Private Pyle in Full Metal Jacket. The CHIEFS should retire his number (72) and put him in the ring of honor. SAVE OUR CHIEFS!

Was he real name "Bob"?

I know another Chiefs fan that passed away during the same period and his first name was Bob. Just curious.

Every time I open CP I am usually a little bummed about something and come here for a distraction.
Then the first thing I see is this thread title.
And I get a shot of gratitude that I am alive and don't really have any actual problems in my life.

Flopnuts helping me out still to this day. Attitude of gratitude. Keep grinding.
