If you can't celebrate a rookie almost throwing a no no, then why the **** are you a fan? You sound like a miserable ****. God damn. You act like Rocker is a sure thing, hell he may never make the majors. Flame out like Zimmer.

Yes Singer threw a no hitter into the 8th inning with first hit didn't come until he had 2 outs.

Mondesi's starting to get going. 8 game hitting streak, with 3 HR and 9 RBI in that time.

If he would have gotten a walk tonight, he would have been the first in the major leagues to have a HR, SB, and BB in three consecutive games, according to Rany Jazayerli. https://twitter.com/jazayerli/status...851411968?s=20

I know I sound like a homer but there's just no way. Our bullpen is way too good. They traded away the closer and we've still got 4-5 guys down there. Zimmer, Hahn, Staumont and Holland are all looking great with ERAs around 2 or below, and Barlow is solid.

This is the kind of player Mondesi was supposed to be. If he was playing like this we probably have 4 or 5 more wins and he'd be a MVP candidate.

Is this Mondesi's best stretch of hitting in his career?

Im actually getting extremely excited about him. I know its an extremely small sample size, but its not like he hasn't shown signs of this the last couple of years and now he worked through the worst stretch of his life and came out the other side as a beautiful ****ing butterfly.

This Mondesi speeds up the rebuild and we become contenders next year.

Home plate ump gets drilled, ball disappears/catcher can't find it, 2 runs score on a WP.

I give this team a year, and we will be contenders. The bullpen is down right filthy at the moment. There’s going to a City of Champions feel soon.
