2 games after they give him a 4 year deal worth 160 million they realized they ****ed up. When seemingly everyone else on the planet knew it immediately. Some of these GMs in the NFL should find other work...

I'm happy yet sad, the Broncos are in cap hell for at least two more seasons, but they got better by letting him go. I was hoping both would be true; that they would be in cap hell and still suck by sticking with him. The funny thing is they don't even want him there to groom the next QB, like at all, so that rookie QB is going to have a very rough first year being thrown out there to the wolves. It'll probably end up derailing his career as well since he's not given time to learn properly. The city will hate him within a year or two like NY and Daniel Jones, so unless he's Patrick Mahomes, Denver is ****ed.

Indeed.

As a Chiefs fan, what a way to clinch the Dynasty.

Could you imagine if someone told you a little over 4 years ago, the Chiefs would be winning their 3rd Lombardi in 4 trips to the Super Bowl, officially making them the NFL's next Dynasty?

And to top it off? Winning it in the Raiders home stadium, with John Elway being the one to hand your team the trophy (surpassing his now irrelevant franchise). The only thing that could have made it better was if Brandon Staley was already with SF acting as their DC.

What a time to be a Chiefs fan!

In a way Denver is showing themselves better than teams like the Giants, that were afraid to let Jones go and start over (and lose their jobs because the team went in the toilet) but who then saw the team go into the toilet anyway.

Not to take up for the Donks but if we were in their position, we'd all be saying that we'd rather watch a team of rookies and deal with the dead cap space than watch the franchise continue to put lipstick on a pig for several more seasons

You only left out coming from 10 points behind in each of the Super Bowl wins.

Pete Carrol put a back to back title run in this dudes hands from the goal line, instead of Beast Mode.

You know he wakes up screaming in the night with that replaying in his head.

Its also the right time for them to do it, because they're not winning anything regardless.

Free Agent Tater going to interviews with his entourage. Someone just to open doors for him, pull out his chair. This has the potential of epic comedy. Someone please get it on film. Or is this the norm now?

We overpaid for JAG QB's for years. None came close to leading us to a SB. Glas those times are over for at least another decade.
