Why does Wilson to the Vikings and Cousins to Denver feel like the moves that will be made?

No amount of elway inebriation can explain this Russel Wilson contract. The rat-like Bronco owners (they were all suing eachother) had to have coerced or ****ed with the GM and Elway to make that contract possible. They were negotiating the sell of the team and Wilson was a big name. That's the only explanation. Those last two years in Seattle were shameful. He was outplayed by the backup QB and gained fifty pounds and got chased down by nose tackles.

LOL. They're on the books for 80 mil in dead cap space up until June when they can split that out over two years. They're totally ****ed. No way they could afford a premium Cousins contract. I expect them to draft two sucky quarterbacks and be scouting XFLers. That's all they can do.

Cousins has mind****ed the league into paying him hundreds of millions of dollars in franchise tags and fully-guarantee contracts (almost 300 million between vikings and redskins). The Broncos have a better chance of trading for Josh Allen than signing Kirk. They can't even sign free-agent receivers.

That was my point all along. Carroll covered for Russ's inadequacies. Seattle had to be doing backflips when they received the donx' offer after the seasons he'd put together.

I still don't understand how anyone thought that was a good trade for the donx. It's difficult to understand someone being that out of touch with reality.

I guess he threw a pretty deep ball and was in the MVP for some of those years. Other than that, yeah, just paying for a name and a ring he won 6 years ago.

Sick of the media asking where a good fit for Wilson is. There isn't one. If a team is paying you 39 mil to not be there at all you have no fit.
I remember reading that a huge problem for Russ in Hackett's offense was that he was required to read the whole field whereas in Seattle it was a simplified WCO that required Wilson to read half the field.

In rough numbers, he gets paid that money. It's not always that way, but he was cut before this contract even started, so he's due his guaranteed salary outside of his signing bonus.
