Shurmer is the 3rd qb because he's smart. Litten's probably gone because he's just not. That spot on the roster (or the practice squad...) isn't about arm strength, it's about what kind of assistance he can provide Mahomes from the background. This isn't like all those years where we didn't have a franchise qb and were trying to find something to maybe develop.
