2019 Free agency Thread
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research. https://overthecap.com/ |

Like most phrases these days, racist, nazi, piece of shit, are so watered down they really have no meaning at all. I find it stupid, feel free to disagree. Its a free country. |

This whole thing with Frank Clark is so incredibly weird.
Are the Chiefs gonna hand out 3 historic deals in a short period of time? 2 of them having DV baggage...within one year of cutting Hunt because of DV stuff? |

Unless they really think this Hill thing will go South and he ends up off of the roster, I don’t see them forking over a mega contract to anyone right now who hasn’t played a snap in the uniform before. |

He struggles against the run. DV past, albeit a long time ago. Would need a mega deal and for us to give up a premium pick. |

I don't know about Clark, but I do think we have one big move left in us on the defensive side - probably on the DL. Maybe it's a big trade-up for the last of the remaining top rushers before they're all gone. I just can't imagine us going into the year with the current defensive depth chart, knowing we're literal Super Bowl favorites. Veach doesn't seem like that type of GM. He knows he can do more.

Unless he adds Ziggy Ansah plus draft a top passrusher, there is like zero chance Veach doesn't make a trade for a good player.
I literally believe this team will never have as good a chance to win the SB as this year so really, Veach has to go big! Like it or not, the offense won't always be as good as last year or what I expect it to be this year, which is just slightly worse than last year. |

Are we selling jeans? We won't trade for him because he's nuts. Clark is done with loose cannons.

Clark is pretty much exactly what you want at the Leo spot. He's the ideal body type. |
