Andy Reid has never lost to the Eagles in his entire head coaching career.

Sounds like it's actually the Chiefs who would win 10 out of 10 times.

Let me see if I have this right…

Andy slips the groundskeeper a couple extra Benjamins and some fries from his DoorDash order in exchange for intentionally shoddy sod work, on a field known to cause teams to slip (including Michigan and TCU in the Fiesta Bowl six weeks earlier).

Chiefs conspire to wear cleats that give them an enormous advantage. Despite said advantage, many Chiefs players experience noticeable slippage and the team falls behind by double digits in the first half. Many Eagles change their cleats at halftime, while only a few KC players do. KC outscores the freshly-cleated Eagles 24-11 in the 2nd half. Afterward, Eagles players note that many players from each team struggled to get traction. SODGATE. Worse than Spygate, Salary cap gate and Watergate combined.

Did I get that right, Q Joe?

And why would the Chiefs want a slick field when our star QB is playing on a badly sprained ankle?

Don't hold out on us... what else is the source telling you about Denver and this upcoming season?

Maybe the Waltons did the deal with Mahomes in an effort to 'pay him off' to throw a game or two. Hmm. Maybe that will be the narrative if/when Denver pulls off a victory this year? This place is all about conspiracy theories, yeah? Let's see.

I wanna see Mahomes go inside a Walmart after win 17 in a row, head to the section where they store their liquor and grab himself a 12 pack of Coors Light.

This is an outlandish concept.

Denver has no chance of winning against the Chiefs.

He’s never lost in the series at all. Undefeated against KC as the Eagles coach, undefeated against the Eagles as KC’s coach.

John Elway believes Sean Payton is the "perfect fit" to help Russell Wilson rebound.

LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — John Elway will forever remain connected to the Broncos. In fact, even in retirement, he told Denver7 Thursday he has an office at Centura Training Center, keeping him tethered to the organization he led to two Super Bowl titles as a player and one as the general manager.

"I still go back for a lot of practices. So, I am around. I don’t have an official role there, but it's nice of them to keep me around a little bit," Elway told Denver7's Lionel Bienvenu from the American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe.

"I look forward to going to practices and games and still being involved. If they ever ask me a question, I have to do enough work to have an answer for them."

Given Elway's résumé and his presence at some workouts this offseason, it was only natural to ask him about the organization's new coach, Sean Payton. The two know each other from multiple rounds of golf, and years of overlap in the NFL.

"I am excited. He’s a perfect fit for where we are right now, where the Broncos are right now. Obviously, he has a lot of skins on the wall. He won a Super Bowl before and won a ton of football games. I don’t think there could have been a better fit. I think he will be great," Elway said.

"It’s going to take some time with a new system, new coaches, even though the spring was very good. The expectations are up there. But they have calmed the expectations compared to last year, which is good. We have to do better with injuries. Hopefully we can stay healthy," he added.

Broncos' Vance Joseph: 'I've had great experiences around great head coaches, winning guys'

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Denver Broncos believe they got “the perfect fit" in Vance Joseph.

That’s what John Elway, the team's executive vice president of football operations/general manager, called Joseph this past week when he was introduced as the franchise’s 16th head coach.

“You’ll see the type of man that he is and what he believes in," Elway said Thursday. “The leadership qualities that he has are tremendous, and we’ll carry on what started with John Fox, went to Gary Kubiak, and he’ll carry that on. That’s why I believe that he’s the perfect fit for us. He knows our weaknesses and he knows our strengths."
