Because he’s got special speed and ability. His career was sidetracked by an early injury and then sidetracked again with the gambling suspension.

If the Lions want Sneed and have grown a little frustrated with JW, it’s possible he would be a chip they’d throw in.

So are we thinking it makes more sense to get a deal done before the start of the tampering period? Or after the first wave?

I could see either.

If you wait, someone might get desperate. That also means we might miss out on signing someone we like.

We’ve gotta be over the cap right now and I think that trade is by far the easiest path to get back under by Wednesday
