Odds are that he'll end up around .700.

Upside is something like his 2017 season, when he put up an .800 OPS.

He's made some swing changes since last year, supposedly. We'll see if they stick or make a difference.

I’m ready for Benintendi to turn it on. Good to see Salvy laying off the first two pitches there, then chases an out of the zone change up.

okay, the commercial for the Royals' "rules" at the K is kinda unintentionally hilarious..

1. Everyone must wear a mask while inside the K...
1a. I saw tons of people on tv this weekend in the stands not wearing...

2. How about a hot dog? Probably smells great.
2a. But you wouldn't know because if you're following the rules you have a mask over your sniffer!

Just thought that kinda like..didn't really think that one through

Guys, I love Salvador Perez, but it is PAINFUL watching him try to frame pitches. He's really not good at all. At all.

That lurch he does is... yeah. Sometimes I think he might cost his pitchers strikes on 50/50 pitches because of how obvious it is.

I actually think he is so big he gets calls other catchers won't because ups adjust their zone sometimes (see Blue Jays, Game 6)

When a pitch is on the corner he moves it to the middle. I think he is more likely to get the call just leaving it on the corner.

Like flopping in basketball, framing of pitches shouldn't exist and should be a fineable and bannable offense. Anything with the sole purpose of trying to trick the ump or official should not be tolerated. I realize in realtime it is difficult to govern but these things should be punished retroactively so nobody ever tries to do it again. Otherwise what you get is James Harden head snapping and flopping for 3 times as many fouls as an actual player that deserves it.
