It’s a good place to eat. They make in-house root beer too

2 smoked pork loin sandwiches from Rudy's Country BBQ. Corn on the cob and a small cole slaw. 2 Kilt Lifter beers

There is no one that makes a better smoked porn loin. How they get a normally tough and dry piece of meat so moist and tender is beyond me.

It's the only thing I get there.

Probably the last time I'll post something in here for a bit, but at least it came out pretty good.

Cast iron grilled Elk saddle chops seasoned with a Brazillian meat rub recipe I found on the interwebs, along with grilled mixed veggies (yellow onions, Broccoli, carrots, crimini and shitake mushrooms, garlic slices, jalapeno slices).

Kind of over-cooked the chops; went all the way to 146 degrees. But was still pretty decent. Might try them again with an Asian marinade next time.

Any of you guys ever use tallow for grilling steak before? Just bought a 10 oz. jar for experimentation and thought I'd ask if anyone had any specific pointers before I do this.
