The Arizona Cardinals select Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida

Even after adding the best player in the draft in Marvin Harrison Jr., the Cardinals still need more help at WR.

They have other needs as well, but I just can't pass up on Pearsall here, who would compliment Harrison and Michael Wilson very well.

Slightly. It's really close with those 2 and Roman Wilson.

The Commanders' war room is in a meeting right now, but will make their selection as soon as feasible. It may be a few hours.

The familiar strains of Hail to the Chief ring out, and onto the stage walks a man in 1820s garb and huge muttonchop sideburns.

"Hello, fellow Americans," he says. "I am former president John Quincy Adams, and I'm here to make an argument for a federal government expedition to the center of the earth."

"But first, I have to draft a soldier into the heart of the Washington Army, more specifically the Commander Corps. With that, I will proclaim that ...

"The Washington Commanders select Autin Booker, DE, Kansas."

On that hot mic, he can be heard asking, "Where is Kansas? Is that a new territory or something?"

President Quincy Adams dispatches a man on a horse to notify New England of their pick. This is easy to do since he's from Massachusetts and knows all of the best horsemen.
