I did not think the Majestic was great, at least for steak. I'd like to find a new steakhouse since Stockhill changed ownership and is no longer 4 stars. Ive just been going to Em Chamas cuz they have cheap Wagyu. |

There’s a relatively new place (5 years maybe, not sure) in Lenexa at the city center area off I-435, Silo Modern Farmhouse that is actually pretty good. Rye is probably a decent comparison.

Oh yes. It's pricier than Rye if memory serves. But damn is it good. I'd rate it much higher. And they have amazing brunch buffets that are not cheap.

I like Bristol but Bonefish is just as good, if not better.

Man I just don't agree.
I've been to Bonefish in the Northland a bunch of times (just a few minutes from my folks house) and I don't think it's a close call. Bonefish typically comes across as just a fairly standard seafood restaurant. Better than Red Lobster of course, but not a top tier spot either. Simply a pretty good spot; on any given night maybe a little better or worse than McCormick & Schmick's. Haven't thought it to be on the same tier as Bristol. |

I tried that Jax Fish House a time or two, which I understand might be closed now and it was good. I'd compare it to Bristol, which I'm again not saying I dislike. But the consistency of Bonefish just does it for me if I'm in the mood for seafood. I'm pretty much guaranteed to love the meal. |

The Bonefish off 64th you’re talking about is dead. Got shut down a month or so ago

Well my mom moved to Florida a year or so back so haven't been there in awhile. Never felt like that area took off like they thought it would; doesn't really surprise me that a more niche restaurant would fail but then again, it was probably open for over a decade. |
