Call it? Predict the 2022 Royals wins .

Go on record your prediction.

The Royals have a lot of optimism & promise this year and for the years to come.

But this is the year for the pitching to take a major step forward along with some talented kids from the minors.

What is your expected win total for the Royals to be this year.

Is this team somewhat comparable to the 2013 team? or maybe 2012?

I thought 78 this winter but I dropped 2 after the Tigers and Twins improves with FA. That’ll prob take a couple wins we normally would’ve had

The only addition we made this offseason was Jack Schitt.

Should they have made additions though? Still don't know what they have with a lot of their young players. Probably still won't know much more a year form now because of jackasses like Dozier and O'Hearn taking at-bats away from Melendez and Pratto, but that's another story.

Still, this offseason wasn't the time to sign expensive veterans. I think a year from now you should see that change a bit. Sherman got the new TV contract, time to spend some of that money starting next year.

76. But I agree with some of you fellas. I think this will be this group's version of 2013. Not saying we make the WS next year, but I think playoffs in 2023 should be the expectation.

The season is a failure if it’s not within a game or 3 of .500. They should be that.
