2019 Free agency Thread

We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

The Bucs are probably going to cut Gerald McCoy.

Interested?

Probably gonna break the bank unfortunately. I like Adrian Phillips as a backup option.

How many of these coaching changes left players that don’t fit the new scheme, but fit Spags scheme?

Possible trades?

Absolutely, on a one year deal.

I want one DT FA and he would very well fit the bill.

For some reason I don't remember him being talked about much last year and the Bucs defense was as bad as the Chiefs, if not worse. Is he still playing a decent level or has he fallen off?

I think he was hurt a fair amount.

I wouldn't give him a whole huge deal, but a 2 year decent deal could help. He's already got his big money deal.

I wouldn’t give McCoy a big deal. He would be an upgrade to Bailey, but turns 31 on feb 25 and is likely not the same player he was in his hay day.

He’s the kind of guy you offer a modest deal to in hopes you can get him cheap to pair with Jones on the inside in passing situations.
