FedEx asks Redskins to change name
Here we go. I think part of the reason we’ve been safe from this kind of stuff is because the Redskins have always been a bigger target. Now that there’s pressure from sponsors Snyder is going to feel the heat like never before. If they go down, make no mistake, the mob will come for us next. |

I don't know about all that, but Snyder is definitely a sentry in the league's ownership. It'll speak a lot to his position in the league if the NFL tries to brush this under the rug "Robert Kraft" style. |

That’s brutal, Alex almost died because of a squabble over a piece of ass.

No, but it fits the narrative of a toxic culture that started from the top.

There's also a good chance that this article is just the tip of the iceberg and once the NFL begins its investigation, former and current employees will no longer fear for their jobs and reputations, which will most likely lead to uncovering even more poor behavior. I just don't see how Snyder can survive an investigation. He was already extremely unpopular with the fan base and wants a new stadium for the team, which at this point, seems highly unlikely in terms of having tax payers fund it for him. |

But I think a lot of the stuff swirling on Twitter today about paying refs was just random nonsense that someone speculated about and then got passed around endlessly. The tone of this article was in line with the tone of a lot of the leaks from the last few days. Bad, but not 'this will shake the foundation of football and all professional sports' which would've been the case if it had been alleged he paid refs. I don't think this is enough for him to be forced to sell the team, but he was already (rightfully) hated so I'm not shocked many are trying to fast track it in that direction. |

There's no way that this WaPo article, as damning as it may be, includes absolutely everything that happened in the past 15 years and I will be absolutely shocked if he's not forced to sell. There's just no tolerance for this type of work "environment" in 2020, nor should there be any tolerance when it comes to making the decision to oust him. I just hope that Ron Rivera isn't a casualty, as he's already been through this nonsense in Carolina. |

So, they're still the Redskins, or are they now a team with no name. The Nonames....

I don't see how the owner don't force him out.
