The odds of him missing that kick were infinitesimally small. Even Fangio isn't that stupid.

The positive news...is Lock is just good enough to prevent them from getting an actual franchise QB.

Absolutely. It's not even close. You would have to be either crazy or a Denver fan to choose Lock.

Lock won't prevent them from getting a franchise QB. Elway and his alcoholism paired with his mushed up brain lining will. I'm sure the Donk fans thought Alex Smith was just good enough to stop the Chiefs from getting a franchise QB. But the Chiefs have a coach and GM that were good at their jobs. They won the division and drafted the best QB talent this generation anyway.

Elway's ego will prevent him from getting another QB for at least 2 more seasons. Lock was his pick...and he just spent an entire draft to surround him with offensive talent.

Then they will start over...again.

They are in extended purgatory with Mahomes in the division....will need a top 8 QB to compete on a yearly basis. Lock will hover around 15....

Horseface is just waiting for Rodgers to come free....

Yep. Inexcusable but that’s 75% of NFL coaches for you. They spend 100 hours per week at the office but can’t manage a game worth a shit. It’s really amazing how many of these lifelong football men can’t make basic decisions when the game is on the line.

Yep, you can say it now.

The curse is over.

Besides, Lin wasn't the problem anyway, Marty was.

The ball never should have been in Bono's hands that much. They abandoned the game plan and the results were a shebacle. Vintage Marty.
