Andy Reid is a terrible head football coach
https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=294718

Also, I like the Super Bowl thread nominations. I've seen the game day thread, the 10 things about the game thread, and the Return of the Trophy thread. All cool, but, IMO, we shouldn't take every thread about the Super Bowl into the HOC.

Something non-football related:
http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=230465

I know it's still active, but it was started by KcMizzou, a longtime excellent member of this board, who simply got fed up, said he was done in a post (not a thread) and never came back. So, I guess it's a memorial type of recognition.

I've been going back and forth on that one, myself. Mostly, I agree with you, but then again it is the first Super Bowl victory this team has had in 50 years. Who knows when its going to happen again. Would be kinda cool to have all of those SB related threads corralled in one central location to be able to find and root through with ease.

If there's enough of them, maybe even a Super Bowl LIV sub-forum? That may be a silly idea.

As I was reading this post I was thinking we should just have a Super Bowl LIV sub. Not silly at all.

Not silly at all. I was about to suggest that when I saw your post.

Hell, if you had the server space, I’d recommend a 10 Things repository to memorialize the history of the Chiefs/CP.

Gotta respect Chris for putting it on the table, even if our path there ended up being home field the whole way https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=327528

I want to nominate ALL of the “Let’s talk about our opponents” threads leading up to the playoff matches. We gotta hang that pre-game trash talk into Chiefsplanet history.

https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=327766

https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=328238

https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=328296

We also should probably immortalize TigerUppercut (while restoring his original title, of course): https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=316853.

Gotta admire him, he even came storming back this season after Mahomes injury. He had a take, and went down swinging with it.

Edit: I think this thread from Pugs has to be HOC worthy.

First time in recent memory that someone on Chiefsplanet had a "friend of a friend' who turned out to be dead-on. On draft day, I was driving back from work through hail and listening to Denver's sports talk radio announce the draft. When they announced that the Chiefs just made a shocking-trade they were baffled at who the Chiefs even wanted, I knew exactly where they were going thanks to the thread below. The fact that Chiefsplanet gave me a more inside track about the Chiefs on draft day than most opposing front offices had is baffling and HOC worthy to me. Even funnier is how confused/dismissive opposing fans/commentators were of the pick. One of the Denver hosts simply did not understand the Chiefs thinking here, "Why would they want DeShaun Watson, Alex Smith can do everything he can and more, why replace a top 10 guy in Alex Smith?" Other Denver host: "Because I think Andy Reid wants his Brett Favre, the big arm'd Patrick Mahomes from Texas Tech."

But the reaction for drafting Mahomes is all for another thread.

It felt like a franchise altering move then, and it feels even moreso now. I still can't believe it happened for our team: https://chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=307189

I'd also nominate the thread where we claimed Suggs. Our old Baltimore friend La Confora predicted Suggs wouldn't report and this is where conspiracy theories ran wild from our fandom that Reid agreed to let Suggs sit out a playoff game against the Ravens: https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=327389

Also, George's Super Bowl & Parade 10 Things have been nominated, but I'd like to second them both. Those are iconic threads from an all time thread that deserve to be immortalized. George's presence is one of the best parts about this community.
