1. If the defense recovers…touchback.
2. If the offense recovers or if it goes out of the end zone on 1-3rd down…ball is placed at the 20 yard line (possibly 25 or 30) and loss of down. 3. If it goes out of the end zone on 4th down…touchback. |

The rule is perfect as it is. The goal line is sacred ground. If you dont posess the ball going over it you LOSE it to your opponent in THEIR goal.
How is this hard to understand |
