*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

How many completions/TD's were lost because of drops? Hint: quite a few.

Mahomes did overthrow quite a few TDs. That’s one area of his game he could improve on. Deep ball accuracy

I’m obviously a million miles away, but I don’t see how he can be that ecstatic for other people and be a ****.

If he’s faking it and is actually a prick he’s a good actor.

I just don’t see how this guy causes problems like Rodgers or derails himself by being me first.

Clark playing hardball with money is really the only thing I see.

tl;dr: impossible. I love him.

Accuracy from the pocket in general. It's obvious he feels more comfortable on the run. He needs to develop Brady-esque robotic consistency in his pocket throwing.

I like how he's down with the fans and not up in some suite. The rich fans who can afford lower level, but still the fans. And he's right in the middle, not in the front row. Can't imagine too many other NFL MVPs doing that.

Its his interviews. So genuine, truthful, and gracious. He really means what he says. Full of confidence

I loved his tape but the interviews sold me. Even Reid/Veach could hardly believe that he was real

He looked way more comfortable in the pocket than any Chief QB I’ve ever seen

I'm sure he'll change some as royalty status sets in. Maybe dump his "rock" for a new model at some point. Or maybe not. But I don't see him turning into a grade-A asshole.

Also no way we play hardball with him on money. You want your transcendent generational QB happy as possible.
