Yeah but terribly coached teams tend to get the least from players. So maybe there's something that can be developed there.

At this point he has to be considered as an option. These LBs need to be held accountable.

The previous 3 weeks were some of the best football of his career. He got sealed off because he overpursued and Jones bit on the boot action (weirdly). A whole lot of guys dicked up on that play.

That doesn't mean you just ditch the guy on your LB corps who's most suited to deal with the one thing they do well.

Thornhill is a 6 foot 200 lb rookie safety and Derrick Henry is a three ton magical Centaur. What's this 9/10 nonsense

Preston Brown maybe...

He had a lot of tackles for the Buffalo Bills. In his first four years he had 109, 117, 135, and 144 tackles. He also played in all games for the Bills in those four years. The Bills did not keep him and Preston signed a 1 year contract with Cincinnati. With the Bengals he only played in 7 games and was put on IR with a MCL right knee injury. In 2019 Bengals re-signed Preston to a three year deal.

In week two of 2019 season Preston had 14 tackles against the San Francisco 49ers.

Coming out of Louisville in 2014, he only ran a 4.86, 40, so he probably has some speed limitations.

Some team might claim him because he is pretty cheap for 2019 with a prorated portion of a $900,000.00 base. If a team keeps him though, his cap number for 2020 is $5,883,333.00 and 2021 it is $5,783,334.00.

With those cap numbers, he should clear waivers. So maybe...

Thornhill was scared manureless in the run game not coming up to fill but rather waiting for Henry. It was embarrassing to watch.

Also still on the market. We've done well with wisnewski and Pennel. Why wouldn't we at least try to get better at a lb position where we're desperate for better lb play.

Doesn't matter who we bring in, the scheme and coach is the biggest problem.

Maybe, the offense gets the locker room and the defense has to dress out in the goat shed. Maybe the offense gets treated like gold at 1 Arrowhead Drive and the defense gets treated like piss. I know what it looks like on game day can only imagine what is going on behind closed doors when the cameras aren’t rolling.

Man that's still irritating.
Has anybody in the media even asked them yet why they limited the snaps of our best run stuffers and made Pennel inactive?

Just when you start to have faith in these jackasses. Maybe they're on the take.

Ummmm...there's a reason we're underachieving with so much talent : we are a terribly coached team.

Isn't that what he said? Scheme and coach are the problem?

If what you say is true (it probably is), it's because of the head coach.
