Year Two of the Matt Quatraro tenure. Time to take a step up this year. Active in free agency and trades this offseason. A new look pitching rotation and bullpen. The Royals/Chiefs proposal seems about as fair as one of these can get for John Q Public.

Extend an existing sales tax. Teams take on fees the county has been covering. They stay in the tax district. $1 billion ballpark district financed by team.

And shit, if the Chiefs upgrade things at the current site, it could revitalize that area a bit.

A 50 year tax is incredibly stupid especially when you consider that neither stadium will be there 5 decades from now. That area will never be spruced up
