This is why I no longer get mad, it's just the Chiefs way. We ALWAYS find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I have nothing more to add to GBlowfish'es:

Just absolutely no excuse for that FG fiasco that gave Tennessee the ball back for the go-ahead TD.

Veteran kicker/holder/long snapper who have all been together for a long time, the crowd noise wasn't much of a factor... no weather condition issues... the snap/hold should be automatic.

Also, mahomes is not 100%. His 75% is better than almost every qbs 100%, but his touch and ability to throw off platform are just not there right now.

So the Chiefs can't win if Mahomes isn't perfect on every throw?

JFC he played out of his mind today.

I didn't say that. Did you read where I said his 75% is still better than other teams 100%? He's obviously not the reason we lost today. But he's clearly not close to 100%.

No one thinks he was 100%... but whatever % he was at today turned in an epic performance that was more than enough to win.

Jesus, I am not saying he didn't have a great performance and shame on our team for needing a perfect performance from him to win this kind of game. But he isn't close to 100%. I'll repeat, his 75% is better than most 100% and that is more than good enough to win games. But he's doing this without being fully himself.

George, #5 is wrong. Toub was screaming at Mecole for fielding the punt. Do you think Toub coaches Butker, one of the best kicker's in the league to miss an extra point? Do you think he coaches Winchester to snap it early? We had really good kick off returns today and we only punted once and that's probably the worst punt Colquitt's had all year. Was this Toub's fault. The last FG, after watching the replay, was the best timed jump I've seen on a snap in a long time, to the naked eye, it looked offsides but wasn't. It was equally as lucky for him to block it with the arm that he did...

Toub is a great special teams coach. The only bone I have against Toub today was he should have had Tryeek deep on the last kickoff.

It's a results driven business, dude. Our ST play this year has been woefully poor compared to previous years. Hardman fielding punts inside the ten; his fumble against the Vikes, Colquitt having one punt attempt and hitting it 26 yards. Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their players. That's just the way it is.

When Butker first came to KC, the kicks just boomed off of his foot, and were straight as an arrow. Now they all hook. I wish he would go back to kicking them straight... if he can remember how to do that now.
