Question: Buying Tickets off Stubhub
Thinking of going to the Pats game on Oct. 4. Seems they have a bunch of tickets reasonably priced on Stubhub. Anyone have any experience with buying during this season? Of course they don't have a customer service link so I have no idea if these tickets are valid during the limited capacity for Covid. Would hate to get out there all the way from San Diego and find out the tickets are no good.

Yes I know that. But since KC is one of two teams allowing fans in, and during the pandemic, I am just worried that season ticket holders are selling their normal tickets and you could be sent away because of limited capacity. Would be nice if you could reach someone there to ask before purchase.

And if there was some outright fraud (very small chance) Stubhub would at least refund you or try to find you other tickets. |

The tickets are all legit. Season ticket holders did not receive any tickets this year, they had to purchase groups of 4 or 6. So the tickets that are out there should all be mobile tickets that you can download and use after purchase.

THANK YOU! I just thought that with limited capacity they would be priced much higher but maybe people are afraid to go to events like this right now and that's why they are reasonable.

You might want to check and make sure there aren't still some tickets available directly through the Chiefs.

All major online ticket brokers are pretty reputable albeit expensive and you eliminate the risk of being shanked or robbed in the parking lot by a Craigslist seller pretending to have tickets.

I went last week and used stubhub. Ticket prices kept dropping up until gametime, but it is a risk you have to be willing to take. The weather could impact quite a bit. If it's 60 and sunny people are going to want to go and if it's 40 and rainy they won't. We waited until about an hour befofre kickoff to buy them last week and paid a little more than $200 apiece for 4 tickets in the lower level on the visiting side. Uppers were going for right at $100 apiece at the same time. An interesting dynamic I found is that if you want two tickets you are basically paying what you would for four since the tickets are being sold in pods.

I would plan to go but hold off on buying for now if I were you. There's a lot of tickets available right now, and people aren't jumping at the chance to pay $186.50 apiece for the cheapest tickets available. If you wait until the day of the game they are going to drop. People aren't going to want to eat the money they have wrapped up in four tickets if they can't make the game, even if they thought they were making a good investment when they bought them.
