123 picks left and 26 days until the draft. Need to average about 5 picks per day to "make it." Think that's about our current pace - should be doable.

For efficiency purposes: I'm happy to move up in the draft order and make my remaining Steelers selections right now!

This feels like one of the drafts that stalls and then we knock out a round in a day or 2 and finish well before the draft.

I enjoy watching this but damn next year the rules committee needs to adopt if you haven't made your selection in 12hrs the next team can leap frog you. You can turn in your selection when you get around to it. Just like the NFL.

It's literally people just not checking this often enough or people not paying attention to how close they are to making their pick. Like, if two teams pick before you, maybe don't plan on going missing for 12 hours, and if you have to, PM the picks. |

I don't think the next team should have to wait until the person gets around to showing up. 12hrs to make your pick, or someone else can take the player you wanted. In the NFL you don't get your pick in on time, the next team doesn't have to wait. |

We've worried about missing the deadline before and ended up finishing a week early. Better than halfway through with more time left than what we've used to date doesn't make me too nervous. People just need to make picks in a relatively timely fashion and be sure to PM the next dude. It would help if we ditched the no weekend timer rule though. It's easier to do it on the weekend than during the week for ****s sake.

Hail to the Chief plays over the loudspeakers as a trim, dapper man in 1920s garb walks to the podium.
Is it ... is it ...? Yes! It's Calvin Coolidge, the US President who presided over the Roaring Twenties! The president known as Silent Cal steps to the microphone. |
