Possibly. At the moment I have zero faith in Big Brain O’ Brian. It is quite possible I’ll put equally wordy analysis up of the two matchups we’ve had with the Texans in 2019 (I’ve thought about it a bit already so I apologize in advance).

I don't really understand the hype around Watson. Less athletic than lamar by a lot, less effective than mahomes as a passer by a lot. He's very good but not great.
Some of these young guys could have a shot. Burrow and Trevor Lawrence have potential to be really good in the NFL. The NFL is probably praying the Bengals are stupid enough to pass on burrow. |

Nah. The only dude who is even remotely close to being Mahomes' rival is Brady, and he's on his way out. Lamar has yet to win a single playoff game, and Watson hasn't been much better. Pat is already a champion. Those two ain't shit.

Yeah, it's not a rivalry but I think those are clearly the 2 best prime age QB's in football right now. They are the only two guys where you say "worth every penny" on their high dollar contract. It would be pretty cool if we can get a Super Bowl matchup with them.

My guess is that they’ll hang around 9-7/10-6 purgatory for a while and hope Watson can be good enough to make plays happen despite his line and lead them on a playoff run. So far they’ve always been left hoping the chips could fall just right for them to go on a run - a feeling we knew all too well before the Mahomes era. |
