Shit is bogus and arbitrary af. The Irish and Italians weren't even considered white as of just a century ago. West, central and East Africans would all be considered black. Do you realize how genetically diverse those groups are?

Everyone would agree it's really sad those schools were ever needed at all, but it is what it is.

Back in the 60's relay teams from Grambling, Southern U, Texas Southern were faster than USC, Texas, LSU etc.

Do you mean people were/are idiots because of racism and discrimination that caused the need for the HBCUs? HBCUs exist because at one time in this country, black people, and people of color, were discriminated against, and were denied entry into the established universities. Because of that fact, colleges were founded so that minorities had a place to seek a higher education, and by doing so seek a better life.
