*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

If Houston has better players than the Chiefs how did we manage to steamroll their asses in the playoffs?
The Chiefs have one of the best coaching staffs in the league.

This is true, but the roster is also better than Houston's.

The Texans are going to end up ****ing themselves by starting Watson early. Everyone will scream "but look at Dak!" but the Texans aren't bringing in the Cowboys offensive line before the start of the season and Dak was a ****ing fluke.

It's pretty close. Texans are pretty stacked.

I'd say they have a better front 7 defensively than the Chiefs, with Clowney, Watt and company. The Chiefs defensive backs are better, with the Texans losing some guys this offseason.

The Texans are better at WR,
Chiefs are better at TE
OL I'm not sure
QB I'd go KC.

I've heard idiots saying there's no reason Watson can't be this year's Dak Prescott.

Is this thread slow as hell for everyone else? I think we need a Pat Mahomes II 2.0 thread.

Bouye was their best DB last year and a huge loss IMO. Joseph is yet another year older, and Wilfork is probably retiring I think. No telling if Watt's back will hold up, and Clowney will probably always battle injuries.

Our OL is definitely better.

I don't know that I'd trade Maclin and Hill for Hopkins and Fuller.

We can move all of the stuff in the OP to my 3rd post in the thread and just put a note in the OP where it's at. That way it doesn't have to load every ****ing time.

Yeah Dak just had to hand it off to Elliott and he never got behind by more than 14 til the playoffs. Make it where he has to throw the ball and I bet he's a different story.

I think Maclin and Hopkins is closer than Hill and Fuller.

Hopkins had a down year just like Maclin.
