Maybe. Didn't even notice the punter was left-footed.

But Hardman also took his eyes off the ball just before it came down to check the rusher in front of him. Maybe the combo of the leftward spin and taking his eyes off the ball was enough to cause the fumble. Have to look the ball into your hands. It's a rule.

I think he's at least partially responsible for how often our returners make bad decisions.

Toub has been excellent overall, but we had a punt blocked for a TD against the Colts, we had a punt blocked for a TD against the Texans, we muffed a punt against the Texans inside the 10 yard line, and we muffed a punt against the Bills inside the 10 yard line.

Players made those mistakes, and if it was our opponents messing up that consistently in the playoffs, we would say they were poorly coached.
